The term anterior midbody of the corpus callosum refers to one of seven parts of the corpus callosum (Witelson). Referred to as 'Region 4', it represents the anterior half of the corpus callosum minus the rostral body of the corpus callosum, the genu of the corpus callosum and the rostrum of the corpus callosum ( Witelson-1989 ).
