It descends in the anterior white column ( Crosby-1962 ). It is a prominent component of the column. Others are the anterior intersegmental tract, the medial longitudinal fasciculus of the spinal cord and the anterior spinothalamic tract of the spinal cord ( Carpenter-1983 ).
