The term hemispheric regions refers to the cerebellar cortex of lobules lateral to the vermis of the cerebellum. Identified by dissection they are present in the human ( Carpenter-1983 ), the macaque ( Martin-1997 ), the rat ( Swanson-2004 ) and the mouse ( Dong-2004 ).
