secondary trigeminal tracts

The term secondary trigeminal tracts refers to fiber tracts arising from the principal sensory nucleus of the trigeminal nerve or the spinal trigeminal nucleus that project to higher levels. These tracts include the dorsal trigeminal tract, the ventral trigeminal tract and the spinal trigeminal tract ( Carpenter-1983 ).
