intralimbic gyrus (INL)

The term intralimbic gyrus (INL) refers to a topological substructure of the anterior parahippocampal gyrus (PHGa), which is defiined by dissection in the human ( Insausti-2012 ). It is one of several substructures of the limbic lobe (LLB) whose surfaces combine to form the uncus (unc), a surface feature of the PHGa and dentate gyrus (DNG) of the LLB. ( NeuroNames ).
