The term Nucleus intralamellaris interpolaris (Hassler) refers to a substructure of the thalamus that is part of the central lateral nucleus. It, the Nucleus intralamellaris oralis (Hassler), the intralamellar thalamic nuclei and the Nucleus intralamellaris caudalis (Hassler) constitute the Nucleus intralamellaris (Hassler) ( Jones-1990 ).
