dorsal fornix (primate)

The term dorsal fornix (primate) refers to fibers from the fimbria of the CA fields that pass dorsal to the corpus callosum in the medial longitudinal stria. Some rejoin the fornix by penetrating the corpus callosum rostrally ( Crosby-1962, Stephan-1975 ).
