dorsal part of the posterior cortical nucleus

The term dorsal part of the posterior cortical nucleus refers to one of two parts of the posterior periamygdalar cortex as identified by cytoarchitectonis in the human. The other is the ventral part of the posterior cortical nucleus ( Mai-1997 ). Some authors identify a transitional intermediate part of the posterior cortical nucleus.
