anterior parolfactory sulcus (aps)

The term anterior parolfactory sulcus refers to a vertical groove on the medial surface of the frontal lobe below the rostrum of the corpus callosum. It defines the anterior boundary of the subcallosal gyrus and is found only in the human ( Carpenter-1983 ).
