The term area LA of Bonin refers to an area of the anterior cingulate gyrus in the macaque as defined by cytoarchitecture. The authors regarded area LA together with area FL of Bonin as the same as area 24 of Brodmann-1909 (guenon) ( Bonin-1947 ).
