pararubral nucleus
Acronym: PRB
The term pararubral nucleus refers to a group of cells located dorsal and lateral to the red nucleus in the macaque ( Paxinos-2009a ), rat ( Paxinos-2009b ) and mouse ( Paxinos-2001 ). It has not been reported in some atlases of the rat ( Swanson-2004 ) and mouse ( Hof-2000 ) and human ( Riley-1943 ). Updated 25 May 2024.
