precommissural septum
The term precommissural septum refers to a composite substructure of the cerebrum that includes the septal nuclei, the septofimbrial nucleus, the subcallosal gyrus and the paraterminal gyrus, except for that portion of the paraterminal gyrus adjacent to the rostrum of the corpus callosum ( Crosby-1962 ).
