anteromedial-anteroventral nucleus (AM-AV)
The term anteromedial-anteroventral nucleus refers to a composite nucleus located in the anterior nuclear group of the thalamus of the macaque. It consists of two nuclei, the anteromedial nucleus of the thalamus and the anteroventral nucleus of the thalamus ( Ilinsky-2002 ).
