Nucleus centralis superior-inferior (CS-I)

The term Nucleus centralis superior-inferior refers to a composite nucleus located in the midline nuclear group and intralaminar nuclear group of the thalamus of the macaque. It consists of two nuclei identified in Olszewski-1952: the Nucleus centralis superior thalami and the Nucleus centralis inferior thalami ( Ilinsky-2002 ).
